[Hong Kong Techathon 2023: Calling the Young and Ambitious!] 

Join Hong Kong Techathon 2023, a one-week challenge to meet new friends, work out an innovative tech-related business plan and pitch for seed funds offered by HKSTP and 9 universities.

Join the Hong Kong Social Enterprise Challenge (HKSEC) now!

You will have the chance to work with partners from the government, the business sector and NGOs to plan businesses that create social value. Champion Teams will be offered Startup Awards of up to HK$300,000 per team to turn their business ideas into reality, and Runner-up Teams will receive up to HK$150,000 per team. HK$50,000 will also be given to the team with a business idea that is most relevant in addressing a current challenge of Hong Kong in 2022-23. Selected award winners may enjoy a fast track to pitch in competitions in Asia and regions beyond.

Good Seed is a social innovation training and funding programme funded by the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund. This programme aims to unleash the creative potential of young people to drive social innovations for the benefit of the underprivileged, with design, technology and business as a major focus. Each winning project team will be granted HKD$200,000 for project implementation.

參賽項目：

Hostel Entrepreneurial Laboratory (HEL) (cancelled)

Hostel Entrepreneurship Laboratory is a trial-and-error lab for students to experiment with their ideas tackling community challenges in Student Hostels and Tuen Mun District. Lingnan Entrepreneurship Initiative (LEI) & the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) will offer training workshops and a competition to build an Innovation and Entrepreneurship community within Lingnan Hostels. Outstanding teams will be nominated to receive HKD$20,000 Student Entrepreneurial Exploration Development (SEED) Fund or Student Activities Fund.

Co-Create Smart Park Challenge 2021 (closed)

Rotary International District 3450 and Cyberport are proud to present the Co-Create Smart Park Challenge (CSPC) Call for Proposal Competition (the Competition). The Competition aims to recruit creative and feasible park design proposals that could be implemented in a smart park from young people and the general public including professionals from different background, to enhance the park environment for the public and promote the sustainable development of smart city initiatives, as well as echoing the Rotary International’s theme of “Serve To Change Lives”.
